Visitor visa
Visitor visa is a non-immigrant visa for the purpose of visiting a particular country temporarily for tourism purpose being holiday or to visit relatives, children and friends, or for medical treatment / combination of business and pleasure.
The grant of visitor visa is at the sole discretion of Consular Officer who decides on the merits of the case fulfilling the criteria
Pre requisites for Visitor / Tourist Visa
The Visa applicant must furnish:
- The purpose of the trip
- Business,
- Holiday / pleasure
- Medical treatment.
- Duration of stay / visit.
- Source of funds to cover expenses while inthat country.
- Sponsored by an Acquaintance
- Self financed
- Justification of purpose
Sponsored Trip:
The applicant’s trip may be sponsored by children / relatives / friends living in the host country, Sponsorships are certainly helpful in cases where the applicant doesn’t have sufficient funds / finances to support themselves in the host country.
The sponsor is required to provide invitation letter and furnish mandatory evidence and formalities both legal and financial to prove the capability and willingness to cover the expenses of the applicant (s) while in the host country.
Sponsorship does not assure the grant of visa.
Self Sponsored:
An applicant may self sponsor his / her trip. Requirements include sufficient funds and proof of financial capability that can justify capability to bear the expenses for the trip.
Super Visa
Parent and Grandparent Super Visa As per Citizenship and Immigration department, “Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents may be eligible to apply for the parent and grandparent super visa.
This visa is valid for up to 10 years and will let you visit your family in Canada for up to two years without renewing your status”.

Work Permit
What you should know if you want to work in Canada
- Employer may need to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire you. This is a document from the Government of Canada that gives employer permission to hire a foreign worker.
- Find out if you need an LMIA.
- You must meet the requirements to:
- enter the country,
- stay in Canada and
- get a work permit.This means you may also need a visitor visa.
- A work permit does not let you live in Canada permanently. To do so, you must qualify under an immigration category as a permanent resident.
- Live–in caregivers who meet certain requirements can apply to stay in Canada permanently.
- Your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children may apply to come to Canada with you.
Apply for a work permit
